Gary Meek, CEO of Blue Triangle, has recently joined the board of the Coalition of Care and Support Providers in Scotland. He plans to bring a unique view to the board as Blue Triangle is currently the largest provider of supported accommodation in Scotland, and provides outreach work within the community.
CCPS is the voice of not-for-profit social care providers in Scotland. Their vision is for individuals and families to thrive through a rights and relationship-based care and support system. Their mission is to identify, represent, promote and safeguard the interests of third sector and not-for-profit social care and support providers in Scotland, so that they can maximise the impact they have on meeting social need.
Gary Meek brings transformative leadership honed through diverse roles, including his tenure as CEO of Glasgow Council on Alcohol. With a passion for social impact, he spearheads initiatives tackling homelessness and addiction, driving positive change in communities. His strategic vision fosters collaboration, leveraging resources to provide vital support services and housing solutions. Gary’s dedication to holistic well-being is evident in his advocacy for marginalised populations, empowering individuals to rebuild their lives. Through innovative programs and partnerships, he continues to champion resilience and empowerment, leaving a lasting legacy of compassion and progress.

Blue Triangle runs 26 services across 10 local authorities. Our staff support the people who enter our services towards gaining their own tenancy. By providing safe, supportive, psychologically informed environments, Blue Triangle works with people at various stages of their support journey, offering the time and space to reset at a critical point in their lives. Our staff are trauma-informed, available 24/7 and champion our supported people’s rights, helping them overcome barriers whenever they can.
Blue Triangle has launched its new five year strategy this week, against the backdrop of a national housing emergency. The organisation will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2025, during which time Blue Triangle has expanded into ten local authorities. Read the strategy here.
