Blue Triangle would like to wish all our staff and supported people a happy International Women’s Day!
Currently, 64% of our staff are women, and women make up the majority of our senior leadership team (75%).
We are pleased that our gender pay data continues to show a negligible gap between pay for men and women at Blue Triangle.
Our median pay has not changed since last year:
Median hourly rate for females £11.76 in 2022
Median hourly rate for females £12.01 in 2023
Median hourly rate for males £11.76 in 2022
Median hourly rate for males £12.01 in 2023
Median gender pay gap 0%
Our mean pay gap has also changed from 0.74% last year to 0.73% this year.
According to the Office for National Statistics Annual Survey of Hours and Earnings in 2020, the gap between the pay of UK male and female workers for all workers, full and part-time, is 15.5%. Blue Triangle is therefore pleased that our pay gaps are significantly below the UK national average.
Blue Triangle believes that the fact we do not have a gap is the result of our very proactive commitment to diversity and inclusion. We continue to promote flexible working within the organisation and healthy/work life balance to staff at all levels and our recruitment decisions are based on merit.
Furthermore, Blue Triangle offers a menopause policy, paid time off for antenatal appointments, 26 weeks additional maternity leave, paid parental bereavement leave, time off for fertility treatment, adoption and fostering. The organisation also has a domestic abuse policy to support those going through difficult times and a career break policy to allow flexibility.
