Blue Triangle is proud to announce its expansion into two new local authority areas—East Dunbartonshire and North Ayrshire—as part of our mission to ensure everyone has access to safe housing and the right support, when they need it most. This reflects our commitment to helping the most vulnerable and tackling Scotland’s housing emergency. With these new contracts, Blue Triangle expands services across Scotland, strengthening our ability to support people at critical moments in their lives.
Blue Triangle Expands Services: East Dunbartonshire and North Ayrshire
East Dunbartonshire Service: Rapid Support for Those at Risk
Our new service in Kirkintilloch has launched and offers Rapid Access Accommodation and Housing Support for individuals and families who are homeless or at risk of losing their home. The service provides immediate, safe accommodation alongside person-centred support to help people stabilise their situation and move towards long-term housing solutions.
North Ayrshire Service: Helping Young People Transition
Later this year, we will open a Transitional Supported Living Service in Irvine, designed for young people aged 16–21, particularly those who are care experienced or care leavers. This service will offer a safe, supportive environment and practical help with skills such as managing a tenancy, budgeting, and building independence—creating a gradual, supported pathway to adulthood.
About Blue Triangle: Empowering People to Thrive
Founded in Glasgow in 1973, Blue Triangle now operates in 12 local authority areas across Scotland, including Glasgow City, West Dunbartonshire, East Dunbartonshire, Falkirk, East Lothian, North Lanarkshire, South Lanarkshire, Renfrewshire, Argyll and Bute, East Ayrshire, South Ayrshire, and North Ayrshire.
We provide supported accommodation, outreach, recovery housing, and floating support services to prevent homelessness before it starts. Our approach is trauma-informed, creating safe, supportive environments that recognise the impact of past experiences while empowering people to move forward.
